ICCL writes to Health Minister about human rights report

The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) strongly welcomes the recent report from the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.

The IHREC report echoes much of what ICCL has been saying for the past year - namely that stronger checks and balances are needed when introducing draconian rights-restricting legislation, and that better protections for certain groups are needed.
