Since the European Commission granted the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) a significant operating grant in July 2012, the ICCL has taken the lead in the newly formalised JUSTICIA European Rights Network consisting of the 19 Network Member organisations based in 17 Member States listed below. Work is ongoing in preparing the Network’s projected activities such as holding training seminars and conferences; producing various publications, engaging in collective lobbying in the area of EU criminal justice and developing an online portal.
